Yellow Tent Initiative by Scientology Volunteer Ministers Reaches Milan

MILAN — 22 January 2026 — Scientology’s Volunteer Ministers have brought their distinctive yellow tent to Milan, offering a visible meeting point for practical help and listening support, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to common challenges. See the full report: Scientology Europe.
Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents meet trained volunteers directly and learn simple news eu kommission steps for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as practical help during difficult moments.
Volunteer Ministers are local citizens trained through 19 introductory courses covering communication, relationships, study skills, workplace challenges and conflict resolution. The approach is personal and practical: understand what the person faces and provide an actionable technique.
In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake and the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquakes, and have also assisted during recent floods in Marche (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help clear homes and public spaces.
In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities. Organisers say volunteers then continued with neighbourhood support, including over 160 consecutive Saturdays of community clean-up and support, extending across all nine municipalities of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as sending essential goods to Ukraine.
Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European Union, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, said: “Across Europe, we see that communities become stronger when citizens feel equipped to help one another in practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
